Oh England.
I have been craving England for the past couple of months. Just really aching to go home.
It's been about 16 months since I was last there, and during that time I have lost two grandparents, which makes me want to go back even more.
This is Capernwray Hall, where I grew up. It's a bible school in the North of England. My house was just beside where the picture was taken, across the field of sheep and cows (I am being totally literal)
Today my wonderful father, who understands my plight, handed me a ticket to go back to England for 10 days as soon as my exams are done, so I am leaving April 25th to go home.
I am so happy.

Evening! I'm so happy for you, Hannah! I feel so blessed to have gotten to know you as a friend over the last little while, and that's something I could always tell about you: Although you are such a wonderful child of God (and, therefore, seem to adjust perfectly to wherever God places you), I can always tell that God has left a very special place in your heart for your home back in N.England. I will be praying for you so that you will not only have a great time during your visit home, but that God will keep you during your exams so that you will have a stress-free ten days. You're a wonderful young woman, Hannah, and about what you wrote on my blog, well, I just know that God's got some stellar Christian man for you, too! The best thing that we can do in the meantime is just work on ourselves and our relationship with God, so that when He feels like we are ready for our lifelong relationship with our respective Prince Charmings, we will know how to love the way God intended.

I live in England. But where I live looks alot more like 'Oliver Twist' than 'Pride and Prejudice'. I can't wait to get off this God-forsaken rock!

Perhaps 'God-forsaken' is a little severe, but then again, Hannah, you've seen where we used to live! There are indeed some nice places near by though, Beth and I were up on Ilkley Moor yesterday which was beautiful. I'll post some pictures today when I feel better (I've got a bit of a flu or something).
Hannah, that is so exciting! Although that's actually the date my term begins and exams start for me (BAD TIMING!!!!!) I hope I can see you, if only for a little bit...and then offcourse we do have to whole summer ahead. WoW, you're coming home, maybe we can find a "real English" English pub together (as opposed to you slightly 'unreal' local) Do you know Take That are playing Manchester the weekend after you arrive and there are tickets available...that would be so much fun to go to together...what do you think???
You will miss it, it goes from the 4th-7th. Oh that's dissapointing, oh well, some other time
