FAME! "I'm gonna live forever..."

At the moment my life is being semi-taken over with the musical FAME, and I am LOVING it!
I am doing 10 hours of dance rehearsal a week, and it's just the kind of dancing I've always wanted to do. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!
Three times a week I get to spend 2 hours in the car with 2 of my favourite friends, Krista and Marielle (yes its a long drive) and we have such fun and great chats.
We're doing this production with a Newmarket Theatre company, and it's a fantastic cast who I'm really enjoying getting to know.
I love using a different side of my brain from academics, having a creative outlet, and using my body. I am so blessed to be healthy and to have energy. We should never take our youth for granted. Seriously!
If you are in Ontario, the show opens on March 22nd and runs for 2 weeks. Come and check it out!

Remember that day, when Marielle convinced us to audition, when we didn't know what to sing, when JP had to wait outside the bathroom to make sure we wouldn't get lost in the maze of a backstage, when the lady played too high and when I kept banging into you in the dance routine, and then we were racing back to throw a goodbye party at my house... and we were like, "I don't want to drive all the way to KESWICK three times a week?"

I love adventures with you, bebe!

Hey Hannah,

Haha I don't think I'm one and the same person that you think I am. But that's okay. I did go to Capenwray at one point. Lol I went there with Ashely Starr, and Ryan Jefferey for their first year, as well as a few others that have blogs. But it's all good! I don't mind people leaving comments on my blog. :)

Take care.

Hey Hannah! Way to go on the musical! That must be a lot of fun. Anyway, just wanted to let ya know that I won't be making it out for Missionsfest this weekend :( I know, it's a sad day. I have to be here for the conference we're having, but I really wanted to come out to Toronto. Georger Verwer is gonna be at your Dad's church in April though, so I'm hoping to come out to that... I hope you'll be there :) I'll let you know for sure when it gets closer! I hope you have an awesome week!

Hannah, I saw you this morning and I almost started cracking up! When those three drummers started in this morning, I had one of the best seats in the house. The expressions on the faces of the people in the congregation were nothing compared to those on the faces of the pastoral team. I can't imagine what was going through their heads, but it's fun to try...

-Uh-oh, am I going to have a PR problem on my hands or is this going to turn into an outright lynching fest?

-Woah, I can't hear myself think in here! What's that I just thought?!

-Interesting... Well, that's great... For you guys.

-Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring... Bananaphone!*

And then there was you. I don't know what you were thinking, but your amused expression presented a brilliant juxtaposition with the rest of them. Priceless. I had to start inspecting the ceiling before I completely lost it.

*If you don't know who Raffi is, you should probably ignore that. If you do know who Raffi is, I'll give you a cookie if you can guess whose thought that was supposed to be :)

Wonderful, wonderful! Simply brilliant! Thanks for the show.
OK, now grab a coffee and a box of tissues and get ready to dive into all the studying you've neglected since January.
Cheers!

Anyway, I'm gonna be at your Dad's church this Sunday (april 22) in the evening for George Verwer's meeting. I hope, I hope, I hope you'll be there too! Let me know ASAP... OK?
